Sewing cooperative Shvemy
The artist activist russian-ukrainian project based on horizontal principles and created in May 2015. Field of activity: sewing, using of clothes and fabrics as medium to convey their ideas. At this moment group consists of 4 people: Olesya Panova, Anna Tereshkina, Maria Lukyanova, Antonina Melnik.

During the school was the first attempt to work on a common cause as a cooperative: together and without compulsion. The first order was production of dresses for play “Vagina monologues” (directed by Sofya Akimova), which was done by the feminist initiative V-day. Some participants of this performance were also involved in the Sewing Cooperative project and sewed their own dresses almost independently. In the workshop worked next people: Maria Lukyanova, Nadezhda Kalyamina, Aliona Isakhanyan, Alexandra Kachko, Antonina Melnik, Anna Tereshkina, Valentina Petrova, Natalia Pankova, Sofya Akimova. At the final exhibition of the second set of the school installation of the working space of the cooperative together with the conceptual posters and sewn products were presented. The latters were also shown as a performance-anticatwalk.
